By March, WAMSO members are anticipating warmer weather. Our thoughts turn to flowers sprouting, warm breezes, and the smell of spring. The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum agrees!
Enjoy the company of other WAMSO members, a light supper at Vincent, and a special presentation by Thom Dreeze, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum events manager. Botanical artist Marian S. Adcock will also speak briefly about her artwork and send you home with one of her beautiful cards.
Courtesy of the Arboretum, attendees will receive a VIP pass to visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Limit one person per pass. Valid through Aug. 1, 2010. No other discounts apply.
The Arboretum will also offer all WAMSO members will receive a $5 discount off their Arboretum Membership through 2010!
Cost for this "Celebration of the Seasons" event at Vincent is
$12 for members and $20 for guests.
Complete your musical thoughts of spring by attending the Minnesota Orchestra's 7:30pm concert, Vivaldi and Piazzolla: A Celebration of Seasons as Sarah Hicks and Sam Bergman conclude their successful "Inside the Classics" nature concert series. Enjoy their lively discussion, musical insights and humorous stories for a fun and fresh exploration of the musical imaginings of nature's four seasons. A 6:30pm pre-concert discussion is also available for your musical enrichment.
